Welcome to the most important job you will ever have. You as a learner! You don’t need a professional teacher to tell you what a difficult challenge it is to be a learner today.

Years ago when I first entered college I had no idea how to learn. In truth I really didn’t understand that the key to learning was me. Once I finally figured this out I also realized I had no idea what studying meant or how to correctly go about it. So, without knowing what I was doing I studied ‘how to study’ and I made a momentous discovery. What was used by successful students as far back in history as Plato and Aristotle is still used by successful students today!

Learning requires you gather the information to be learned.Then you organize the information in a manner that encourages learning and finally you study the information in a manner that fits your learning style.Through this process you then absorb or acquire the information in a manner that is comprehensive and permanent.

BUT, the most important discovery I made was that I had already been shown all the various parts or steps in the process. I just had never had anyone show me how to organize it or use it to learn.

That’s why we have developed ‘The Study System’, an intensive three-hour workshop that covers the key skill areas that all successful learners use. You will quickly come to understand all the learner essentials you will need, including:

• How to gather the information to be learned.
• How to organize any information so that it can be learned.
• How to set up study materials.
• How to use the information that is organized to study the materials..

You can learn ‘The Study System’ on your own if you are self-motivated and really want to learn how to study. The Student Handbook contains all the information offered in our classroom. The Study System is an old system that has been used for centuries! You have heard all this information before. BUT, you have never heard it together and  you have never had it explained on how to use it to learn.Once you have learned the system you will be able to make the grades you want if you are willing to put forth the effort.

The Study System is a simple process learned in one three hour class. In most cases the information is not new; you have most likely already learned all of this but have never had anyone tell you how to adapt it to studying and learning. It is so simple anyone can use the system and gain the grade they want if they are willing to put forth the effort.This brief course covers information on ordinary texts as well as those more challenging texts in Literature and Math. The actual method used to study the material allows for private study on your own or studying with a friend.Either way you learn the material.
